It’s hard to tell whether Astro Aqua Kitty is a sequel or a spin-off. Unlike Aqua Kitty XD: Milk Mine Defender, it combines bullet hell with Metroidvania and RPG elements. You start picking a pilot and an engineer for your crew, and each weapon has its own strengths and weaknesses, so you’ll have to experiment with them to see which one is effective against which enemy. One thing is for sure, this game is the cat’s meow, and I highly recommend it to cat lovers or whoever wants an easy platinum. Also, “Sargasso” is the best song on the soundtrack.
