The friends of Ringo Ishikawa

FoRI is best described as a Persona meets River City Ransom meets Sayonara Wild Hearts. A day life system with teenage brawling and all, seemingly, in service to a heartfelt and vibey soundtrack. “In service” because if one of the major late-game mechanics is to just watch my character read the entirety of The Brothers Karamazov it must be so I can listen to the music. If I were foolish enough to publish a top 20 RPGs of all time I would put The Friends of Ringo Ishikawa firmly in the bottom 10, which is pretty good all things considered.
