Resident Evil: Revelations

Resident Evil: Revelations slows down the pacing and tone of the previous games, but more than makes it work with a tight, claustrophobic environment and what are, beyond a shadow of the doubt, the most terrifying monster designs in the series. We’ve gone beyond zombies into nightmare flesh straight out of Silent Hill. The story is a little basic, but it doesn’t take away from the main game’s horror beats when it wants you to feel afraid. Including a Raid Mode, an arcade-style challenge mode for fans of the earlier Mercenaries mode, Revelations is surprisingly a fairly satisfying horror experience.
