If there was an example of how to do a sequel correctly, Dragon Quest Builders 2 would be the poster child. It took everything that was good about the series and bumped it up to 11. All the while taking out the things that left the game frustrating or confusing. Finally, boss battles from the first game that had no bearing on the overall missions are removed. Replaced by bosses that make more sense to the overall story and mechanically work with their environments. There is little to dislike, the charm in its world-building and characters engross me every time.
