I’ve never played a game that I would consider to be a modern masterpiece until I finished Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. If there was a loose end that didn’t get tied in the first three games, odds are it got addressed here, and the story is so meticulously put-together that there’s almost never a dull moment. Many improvements to the gameplay make it snappier and more engaging than it already was, such as a marking system and new stealth abilities. Throw in some energetic open-world-esque driving sections, and Uncharted 4 was a ride that I didn’t want to end.
